NASHVILLE, TN — Plies brought his 40 & Up With a Good Job Tour to Nashville, but one local photographer made sure the night would live beyond the stage.
Dee Lenz — better known as “The Shoota” — was right in the action, documenting Plies during the Nashville stop at Skydeck on Broadway.
The images show Lenz working from the photographer’s pit and capturing Plies under the lights, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at one of Nashville’s biggest nightlife stages.
📸 WHO IS DEE LENZ?
Lenz has been building a name around Nashville’s entertainment scene as a celebrity photographer and visual storyteller.
In May 2026, Lenz appeared on I Got Sum Shit To Say!! The Podcast for an episode titled “We The Shootas.” The podcast describes him as a Nashville celebrity photographer and says his journey included selling selfie sticks on South Beach before progressing into photography and booking photoshoots for billboards on Broadway.
The episode also points listeners toward his Instagram presence, @DeeLenzNetwork, and specifically highlights his work behind the camera with Nashville talent.
🎤 PLIES HAD THE STAGE. DEE LENZ HAD THE SHOT.
The Nashville stop created the perfect collision of music, nightlife and visual media.
Plies was performing.
The crowd was going crazy.
And Lenz was positioned close enough to turn the moment into content.
That’s increasingly what celebrity photography has become: not just taking pictures, but creating the images that become part of the public record of an event.
And judging by the photos featured in the promotional graphic, Lenz wasn’t simply watching the show.
He was working.
