Broadway in Downtown Nashville turned into a full-blown viral moment last night when celebrity photographer Dee Lenz the Shooter randomly crossed paths with hip-hop heavyweight Waka Flocka Flame — and of course, the cameras were READY.
Witnesses say Dee Lenz was in his natural habitat, snapping street shots and working on a late-night content run when a small crowd suddenly started buzzing near a honky-tonk entrance. Moments later, Waka Flocka himself stepped out — and Dee Lenz locked in like it was game time.
According to onlookers, Dee hit Waka with the classic “Lemme get one real quick,” and Waka — always tapped in with the culture — stopped, laughed, and threw up a signature pose like they’d known each other for years.
Fans around them pulled out phones instantly, turning Broadway into an impromptu red carpet. One bystander joked, “Only in Nashville do you see bachelorette parties, cowboy hats, and Waka Flocka taking pics on the same block.”
Dee Lenz, who’s been rising fast as one of the South’s go-to celebrity shooters, reportedly captured a set of crisp, clean shots that had people saying, “Yeah, that’s why they call him The Shooter — no misses.” Benny Hunna took to twitter this morning crowning Dee Lenz the “celeb 🔌”.
No word yet if the two exchanged contacts, but you can bet the internet is already waiting for the photos to drop.
