The adidas Top Ten 2000, which Kobe Bryant first wore at the turn of the millennium, is now given a joyful, fashion-forward makeover by Queen B. The silhouette’s broad choice of tooling mixes its cutting-edge 2000s construction with futuristic flourishes two decades removed from its traditional sporting ethos. A clean “Cream White” emphasizes the tonal tongue area, and corresponding embossed “IVY PARK” logo is attached to the tongue tabs. The upper is covered in “Magic Beige” treatment across its treatment of suede, leather, and technical mesh components. Rarely orange hues embroidered into the laces and positioned along the forefoot’s lacing loops provide an introductory sample of the colorful contrast. The heel piece is molded for an organic curve of lines that delivers a brand-new design language. The pair’s insoles end with an odd choice of “Pulse Mint,” taking over the ridged sole unit in a pair of the latter titular orange casting. slated for sale on Friday, January 20th, with a $200 suggested retail price.
