Vanderbilt football pulled off a stunning upset against Alabama on Saturday, marking what could be the most significant victory in the program’s history. The Commodores defeated the Crimson Tide 40-35 in Nashville, and their fans celebrated in a big way. After the game, fans stormed the field, tore down the goalpost, and carried it out of FirstBank Stadium. They continued their celebration by parading it down Broadway before eventually throwing the goalpost into the Cumberland River.
