Throwback: When Akon Threw a Fan Offstage!
Akon made headlines in 2007 when he literally threw a fan offstage at KFEST in New York. After someone in the crowd allegedly threw something at him, Akon had security bring the culprit onstage—then shockingly hoisted the teen over his shoulders and tossed him into the crowd!
The stunt led to legal trouble, with Akon facing charges of endangering a minor and harassment. He later pleaded guilty, paid a fine, and completed community service.
Lesson learned? Don’t mess with Akon at a concert!
