Key Glock just stirred the pot in Tennessee’s hip-hop scene — and Nashville is not happy about it.
During a spicy sit-down on the BagFuel podcast, the Memphis rapper bluntly claimed he doesn’t know any rappers from Nashville. That eyebrow-raising comment quickly made waves online, especially since Glock’s been working for years with Nashville producer BandPlay (yeah, the guy behind some of his biggest hits like Yellow Tape 2 and Glock Bond).
But wait — it didn’t stop there. Nashville rapper Rudeboy Drilla took it personally, catching Glock out in public and confronting him over the slight. Drilla later posted the encounter, adding fuel to a fire that’s been smoldering between Memphis and Nashville’s music scenes for a while now.
While Glock didn’t name-drop or diss anyone directly, the message was loud and clear: if you’re not in his circle, you’re not on his radar.
Guess Nashville’s got some words for Key Glock now. Stay tuned — this could get messy.
