CLARKSDALE, MS — Rick Ross might’ve just landed a street in his name, but his ex, Tia Kemp, is making it clear — she’s not clapping for the Boss.
Shortly after news broke that Ross was being honored with Rick Ross Boulevard in Clarksdale, Mississippi, Kemp hopped online and blasted the move, questioning whether the rapper truly represents the city — or his roots.
“They should’ve named it William Roberts Boulevard,” she said, throwing shade at Ross’s rap persona and suggesting he’s been more Miami mansion than Mississippi Delta for years.
While Ross celebrated the moment as a major milestone, Kemp made it sound like the city honored a character, not the man behind the mic.
This isn’t the first time Tia’s taken shots at Ross — but dragging his government name into a city tribute? That’s next level petty. Mississippi got the Boss… but Tia says it should’ve been the man behind the beard.
