GLORILLA FACES LAWSUIT FOR HER HIT SINGLE

Memphis, Tn artist Glorilla has been at the center of conversation on social media as she has been going viral for almost a year straight. Glorilla is signed to Memphis mogul Yo Gotti CMG the Label record company that has a roster of hip hops top artists in the industry right now. Glorilla was introduced to the music industry back in May 2022 with her hit single FNF and has been consistently dropping hit singles as well as collaborating with the industries top artists like Cardi B, Lil Durk, Yo Gotti, and Latto just to name a few. Glorilla is now facing a lawsuit for her hit single “Tomorrow” that exploded after Cardi B jumped on the remix.

The lawsuit alleges that Glorilla’s hit single that was produced by Macaroni Toni samples a hit song from New Orleans based rap group Dog House Posse entitled “Street of the Westbank.” There is almost a 30 year gap in these 2 releases seeing that Dog House Posse dropped there hit back in 1994. If it is found that “Tomorrow” infringes on the rights of Dog House Posse’s “Street of the Westbank”, Glorilla could lose royalties, publishing, and possibly be ordered to pay up for her certified gold record.
