RFK CALLS TRUMPS DIET “BAD”

On Thursday, Trump fulfilled his promise to let Robert F. Kennedy Jr. take the lead on public health by appointing him head of the Department of Health and Human Services. Given RFK Jr.’s well-known history of promoting unscientific, fear-driven, and sometimes inflammatory views, this decision raises a number of questions—like what he’ll do about the vaccines he openly opposes or if he really intends to eliminate fluoride from public drinking water. And then there are the lighter questions—such as how RFK Jr., a staunch critic of processed foods and seed oils, views Trump’s infamous fast-food diet.

As it turns out, we already have an answer to that. In a recent live episode of The Joe Polish Show, recorded before his new role was confirmed, Kennedy expressed his thoughts on Trump’s eating habits, remarking, “The stuff he eats is really, like, bad.” He described the options on Trump’s private jet as “just poison,” explaining that “if you’re lucky, it’s KFC or Big Macs. The rest of it, to me, is basically inedible.”

Kennedy also noted that UFC CEO Dana White, who has known Trump for over two decades, recently told him he’s “never seen Trump drink a glass of water.” This may not be surprising for a man reportedly known to drink up to 12 Diet Cokes a day.

It seems that RFK Jr. may only be seeing the surface of Trump’s eating habits. According to a former campaign manager, during his first term, Trump would sometimes go up to 14 hours without eating, only to devour two Big Macs, two Filet-O-Fish sandwiches, and a chocolate shake. Is he likely to swap all that for green smoothies and grilled salmon? Probably not.

In an ideal world, I imagine RFK Jr. constantly intercepting Trump’s fast-food deliveries at Mar-a-Lago, even as Elon Musk lingers too long in the background. What could possibly go wrong? And if there’s one thing that could unite Trump and liberal women, it’s a shared defense of the beloved Diet Coke.
