A small plane turned a Florida highway into a disaster zone Friday morning after plummeting out of the sky and crashing just minutes after takeoff — killing all three people on board in a terrifying blaze.
The Cessna 310, which had just left Boca Raton Airport around 10:20 AM, suffered mechanical issues and went down hard near I-95 and Glades Road — directly into a car, creating a massive fireball that witnesses say looked straight out of a movie.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but it was too late for those onboard. One person in the car miraculously survived with non-life-threatening injuries. The entire area was littered with flaming debris and charred wreckage.
Now, the FAA and NTSB are digging into what caused the deadly dive. Meanwhile, Boca Raton is reeling from the shock — with Mayor Scott Singer calling it a heartbreaking tragedy.
From the air to the asphalt — this crash left a fiery trail no one will forget.
