EXCLUSIVE — NBA YoungBoy just got the ultimate get-out-of-jail card — a presidential pardon straight from Donald J. Trump himself!
Yep, you read that right. The Baton Rouge rap star — real name Kentrell Gaulden — was just officially pardoned by the former president, cutting short his nearly 2-year stint behind bars on federal gun charges. And he’s already thanking Trump in true YoungBoy fashion.
In a statement that hit social media like a bomb, YB wrote: “This moment means a lot. It opens the door to a future I’ve worked hard for, and I am fully prepared to step into this.” Sources say he also personally thanked prison reform champ Alice Marie Johnson and his powerhouse attorney Brittany K. Barnett for making the pardon happen.
This all went down just WEEKS before YoungBoy was set to be released anyway — but Trump came through with the early exit, leaving fans (and critics) shook.
And it gets better — YB’s now prepping for his big return to the stage with the “Make America Slime Again” (MASA) Tour, set to kick off September 2 in Dallas. That name? Yeah, pretty clear who he’s saluting.
No word yet if Trump plans to make a surprise appearance on the tour… but at this point, would anything shock us?
Stay tuned. This story is still developing — and YoungBoy is officially back outside. 🔥
