The City Oilers had a rough start in the BAL season but managed to get their rhythm back against Ferroviario Beira pulling off a 96 -75 win. The City Oiler SF Falando Jones was named MVP with 24 points, 4 assist, and 7 rebounds. At a BAL Post Game Press Conference Falando Jones was asked about his trip to the Giza Pyramids and did he fell it had a positive affect on his performance. Falando Jones said the the trip helped a lot along with a visit from his sister who took her first flight overseas.
After stepping away to enjoy himself and his family Jones say he was “completely locked in”. At the end of the press conference a reporter suggested that Jones take another visit before their game which will be today vs. the Cape Town Tigers.
